Japan Snow Festivals Part 2: Asahikawa
Alrighty… You good? Awesome.
Now let’s head on over to another winter festival that is personally my favorite amongst the four: the Asahikawa Winter Festival.
To be a kid again… innocent, naive, with a delightful sense of wonder!
The Asahikawa Winter Festival certainly gave me the feels of kiddie delight.
While I understand it seems odd that a grown woman like myself would prefer a playground over a pub, I’ve hesitantly shared a few posts back how I’m quite the late bloomer.
You’ll see in the video how contrasting each snow festival is. You can’t even compare as each one has its own distinct vibe and personality!
While Sapporo may be the biggest snow festival, Asahikawa boasts of the largest snow sculpture in all of Japan – the performance stage.
